*Sizes range from 5-10" tall from base of the soil, and about 2" wide. Keep in mind that every tree is unique and may be smaller or bigger than pictured!
*This majestic conifer is native to Northern, Eastern, and Central Europe. It is extremely hardy and tolerant making it a perfect versatile tree for most areas! This tree is a faster growing tree. It will grow anywhere from 2'-3' per year! When matured, it can grow up to 60' high and 30' wide!
*Ideally it is best to plant in fall or spring, but it is possible to plant in the winter time as the Norway spruce can tolerate a wide vary of temperatures. Avoid planting when the ground is frozen. These trees are hearty but still don’t like the freezing temperatures when there roots are still establishing. If planting in the winter time, to protect these young trees, use sticks or stakes to prop the tree up. To prevent from freezing, wrap in a vinyl guard or tree wrap.
When planting, dig a hole that is 3 times the width of the tree plug and plant in a more acidic, well draining soil. If planting multiple, make sure to space them at least 12-15 feet apart.
*When newly planted, water every couple days to keep soil moist but not soggy. After a month, water weekly unless in rains or snows in the duration of that week. Adding a mulch to the top of the soil will allow the soil to retain its moisture better. It is highly recommended to get protection on your tree, such as a tree guard, to prevent any unwanted visitors from damaging your trees!
*Once planted, allow tree to get at least 6 hours of sun per day. They can get really sad if they don't get enough sun!
*Fertilize trees in early spring with a slow release fertilizer once roots have established!
*I can ship same day on most orders, I just have a longer processing time for larger orders. If you are looking to order mass quantities, please allow the processing time to be about 1-2 weeks. I will get in contact with you on any updates with your shipment! Please specify in the personalization section when you are wanting your trees if it is a later date!
