Japanese Black Pine Seedlings!

*Ready to plant bare root tree, rated for zones 5-9!

*Planting instructions provided with each order.

*Can not ship to Alaska, Guam, Hawaii, Minnesota, and Rhode Island.

*These tree seedlings would make a great addition to your property or even fun party favors!

*Sizes range from 4-11" tall from base of the root system. Purchasing options to choose from are short (4-7") and tall (8-11"). Taking approximately 20 years to mature, it can grow up to 60 feet high, and about 12-25 feet wide.

*This unique tree was exclusively planted on the northeastern shorelines because of its succuss rate of being planted in sandier soils. As they evolved, plant enthusiasts started turning these beauties into bonsai trees. They are most known for there irregular growing patterns. When planted in the, they can grow up to 18 inches per year!

*Ideally it is best to plant in early to mid spring, it is possible to plant in the winter time if being planted in a temporary pot until the next spring hits. To avoid damage to your tree in the winter, use sticks or stakes to prop the tree up. To prevent from freezing, wrap in a vinyl guard or tree wrap. When planting, dig a hole 2-3 times larger than the container, backfill with peat moss, then mix thoroughly with a loamy, sandy soil. Place the roots in the hole and backfill around them. Water immediately!

*It is highly recommended to get protection on your tree, such as a tree guard, to prevent any unwanted visitors from damaging your trees!

*When newly planted, water when soil is dry. This may vary depending on the time of the year. This particular tree is very drought tolerant!

*Once planted, allow tree to get at least 6-8 hours of direct sun per day.
